SUMMER KICK OFF 2023 CONCERT IS DONE! 

I love our concert. It’s the culmination of everything we are trying to accomplish at our studio. It brings all of the students and families together, it showcases the hard work each and every student has been putting in the past 6 months, and it inspires all of us, not just the teachers and parents and loved ones, but the students themselves. They get to know the feeling of having accomplished something amazing.

The most often heard comment at this years show was “The kids are really getting GOOD!” It’s been so fulfilling to watch all of these students grow from pure beginners into seasoned performers. For many of these kids, they will perform more than a half dozen times on stage before they are teenagers. That kind of experience, that kind of courage and initiative is invaluable as they grow up into the incredible human beings they no doubt will become.

I can’t point to any one performance because they were all so incredible. The students who decided to sing AND play their instrument at the same time get a medal of bravery from us. This is NOT an easy thing to do. Special kudos to them.

And of course, our band performances are just so much fun.
